Our experienced Trustees are constantly researching charities that are leaders in the forestry sector. Although the pipeline is large, we hone this down to a handful each year. When we issue grants we prefer them to be for a number of years, so adding new charities can only be possible with an increase of funds. Please donate today to help save the planet.
COP26 left us wondering how the zero-carbon targets will be met. Most of the political answers were relying very heavily on technology that has not been invented yet, especially from 2030 to 2050. Again, we see politicians kicking the can down the road and playing for time. No move to make hard vote-loosing ...

Marine Projects
Much of the marine world is out of sight, and therefore out of mind, but this is the most important area to fix in order to reduce greenhouse gases.
We're calling for at least 30% of the ocean to be highly or fully protected by 2030, to allow our ocean to recover and thrive once more

The Carbon Community

The project aims to uncover a new reforestation approach, rooted in science, to accelerate and enhance the sequestration of carbon dioxide (CO2) in trees and soil to tackle the climate crisis.

The UK's largest woodland conservation charity, that plants, protects, restores and cares for the UK's woodlands.
Trees for Life

The charity is working towards rewilding the Scottish Highlands. The Affric Highlands initiative is working on plans to restore forests and peatlands while beginning to establish woodlands next to lochs and rivers as part of their thirty-year vision to rewild 500,000 acres between Loch Ness and the west coast.
